A successful online business truly is the dream for so many of us these days. A business built to last is one that’s going to give you a money, minimal problems, and an extremely high sell out at the end of the road if that's what your end goal is of course. To get to a point where you're achieving all this is going to take some serious hard work. It might take a few years, it might never happen. But you want to keep that goal in mind, don’t lose sight of what you started your business for!
In my time running She Does This, I've spoken to hundreds of successful female entrepreneurs. They've all had different journeys and so forth, but they've all had a few key things in common that have got them to this point...
Plenty Of Traffic
Gone are the days where people would walk to streets in search of a shop selling exactly what they needed. Now we’re in an era where everyone shops from their comfort of their own home, or at a computer at work, or on their commute to work. Technology has blessed us in many ways, and one of them being people just love to shop on the internet.
Your business is going to be a tiny spec in the internet, so you’re going to have to make sure you’re producing plenty of traffic. Using WordTree Amazon keyword tool to generate relevant keywords is a great tool to use. It can help put you above your competitors for the keywords you’re trying to rank for, and generally put your website on the market more. Using marketing techniques to put your website on the map is one of the best ways that you can create a business built to last, because people will always be coming to visit to buy your products. You just need to make sure you’ve also got a great website to use!

Plenty Of Connections
I truly do believe you need plenty of connections in the business world if you want to get to a point where you can last for good. You need to have companies that you can rely on to provide you with the things you need to succeed. If you produce a product, this means having a great relationship with your manufacturers and anyone who plays a part in getting your product to the customer.
Also, don't underestimate the power of networking! Look up networking events in your area pick one that you feel is the best fit for your business. Linkedin in also a great way to connect with other business people.
It’s all about knowing the right people, and having a good enough relationship with them!
Plenty Of Opportunities
I heard Roxy Jacenko speak at Minding Her Business earlier this year and this piece of her advice stuck with me: "Never pass up on ANY opportunity that comes your way. You never know where it may lead you or who you may meet"
Obviously any REASONABLE opportunity that comes your way, but this makes total sense right?! You really can’t ignore opportunities if you want to go the full mile. For example, you might be asked to speak at a business conference about a certain subject that you have expertise in. You should never pass an opportunity like this. Even if public speaking scares you, PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE!
