How to collaborate as a team while working remotely

woman working from home

Whilst the immediate threat of COVID-19 seems to have passed us in Australia, the reality for many is that working from home will continue for some time to come.

The change of pace and dynamic is completely different in the home office to that of the one we’re used to commuting to. Although we’re working apart, it’s more important now than ever to stay connected to our co-workers, for social and efficiency’s sake.

Post-it have an incredible range and an app that your team can use during this time.

Here are a few ways you can use the Post-it tools to stay connected while working apart:

1. Share your meeting agenda

On the Post-it Super Sticky Notes, write each topic you’d like to cover in your virtual team meeting, You can then capture these and share with your team via the Post-it app.

2. Share your team to do list

Using the same method as above, you can also share your teams to do list via the Post-it app. You can also export your list from the app in multiple formats, such as PDF, Excel sheets, Powerpoint presentations and more.

3. Create and share your daily schedule

Using the Post-it Dry Erase Surface, create a daily schedule for yourself and your team. This product works as a whiteboard and can adhere to a number of different surfaces, making it perfect to use in your home office.

Again, capture your schedule via the Post-it app and share with your team so they know when you’re available to be contacted during the work day.

4. Create timelines to stay on track

Without the presence of a boss or co workers backing you up, it can be easy for key dates for projects to slip your mind. Building a timeline for project management or due dates is a great way to stay on top of your work load.

Here’s how to build a timeline:

  • Draw a grid to make a calendar, then write in important milestones on particular dates. Post-it Super Sticky Dry Erase Surface and Post-it Easel Pads work well for this.

  • Write down all the tasks needed to achieve each milestone on separate notes and place on the relevant days in order of priority.

How are you adjusting to the work-from-home life?
