She shares her travel bucket list

Travel empowers me in ways I can't really explain...

Each trip I take I learn more about the world, and my place in it.  I developed such an appreciation for home and everything and everyone I have here.

I’m pretty lucky to have lived overseas and seen a lot of the world but the travel bug is real and I want to see more!

Here’s a list of just a few places I want to venture to….

BORA BORA

Firstly, if you haven’t seen Kim Kardashian’s meltdown over losing a diamond earring in Bora Bora, you have missed out on some truly spectacular theatrics.

Anyway, Bora Bora is known for it’s floating villas that are seriously just my idea of absolute heaven. Can you imagine waking up to this?

However with just one night in one of these baby’s setting you back around $2800AUD, Bora Bora may just have to stay on the old bucket list for now...

By the way, you can view Kimmy K’s earring tanty HERE

JAPAN

Give me a week’s worth of Sushi, Miso Soup, Gyoza and whatever other delicious delicacies this place has to offer. Japanese is without a doubt my favourite cuisine so naturally I’ve always wanted to visit.

Not to mention, Tokyo is one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world. Who wouldn’t want to explore this city?!

The trip to Japan wouldn’t be complete without visiting Mt. Fuji, a place I’ve always dreamed of seeing in real life.

SANTORINI, GREECE

Next up on the travel bucket list is Santorini, Greece.

Ever since I saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants as a young girl, I have dreamed of exploring this beautiful part of the world. The architecture, the blue sea, the people, THE FOOD! Everything about this place draws me in.

I may or may not have a fantasy that I fall in love with a gorgeous Greek god of a man when I’m over there.

SURREY, ENGLAND

Family history is what draws me here. Surrey is my Dad’s birthplace so there is a natural curiosity to see where he spent his first few years of life. I want to see his first home, where he went to school and where he used to play as a young boy.

No modern accommodation here please, give me an old English barn style hotel that overlooks the countryside.

FINLAND

I would travel to Finland for the sole purpose of staying at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort.

Lounging by the fireplace in a glass-ceiling igloo while the Northern Lights light up the sky? Sounds like my idea of absolute heaven.

A 3 night stay in peak season would set you back around $2600AUD. A lot of money but to wake up to that view? I’d say YOLO

TULUM, MEXICO

I’m just going to leave a few images here that adequately sum up why I MUST visit this part of the world.

I think I’ve made my point....

Do you have a suggestion to add to the travel bucket list?
