Feeling down? 6 pick-me-ups to get you back to fabulous

Being a woman comes with all sorts of pressures. These can be pressure’s from society or one’s we place on ourselves.

We all have moments of self-doubt, where we feel incapable or unworthy.

Here’s 6 simple things you can do to pick yourself up out of a rut and get back to feeling fabulous.


Smash a workout


A proven way to get those happy endorphins pumping! Get your morning started off the right way by smashing a workout. It will mean that you’ve accomplished something with your day – before you’ve even had your breakfast. Try some High-Intensity Interval Training workouts that will get your morning off to the best start.

Wear a new outfit


I firmly believe that beauty comes from within but let’s face it: when you look good, you feel good. A bit of power dressing will work wonders for your self-esteem. Listen to a motivating talk


A motivational talk can be just what you need to find inspiration and motivation to help you make it through the day. You’ll find some amazing podcasts and YouTube videos of people delivering great talks on the things they’ve achieved who can inspire you to go off and do some great things today. TED talks always leave me feeling reinvigorated!



Treat yourself

Do something that you LOVE and that’s just for you. Maybe a blow dry, a manicure or a quick facial at a day spa will be just what you need to feel fresh again. You should never feel guilty for taking time out to spoil yourself – you deserve it!


Ask for a pep talk


Never be afraid to ask for advice! A pep talk from your partner or friend can be a good way to clear any doubts and give you some reassurance. If you’ve got a tough presentation or a job interview coming up – asking for a pep talk can help you to keep your eye on the prize and reinstall your confidence.


Smile!


It can be difficult to smile when you’re not feeling so fresh, but overcoming your doubts will instantly drive you to feel more confident. Do something that makes you smile! Try creating a playlist on Spotify with songs that make you feel happy and play it while you’re in the shower or getting ready for the day.



It’s not easy to be confident all the time, so it’s important to invest in yourself to make it through the tough times.


Don’t be afraid to believe in yourself!
