SDT: Home and Away is on a production break due to COVID-19.

What have you learnt about yourself during this time?

ADA: I have really learnt to take a step back and be more relaxed and just enjoy the things that matter in life, like spending time with my family.

SDT: What are most looking forward to post-ISO?

ADA: I would love to put on some make up and put on a nice dress and have dinner at a nice restaurant... OH and travel of course!

SDT: 2020 marks your 21st year on Home & Away!

What are some of the highlights?

ADA: I started quite young on Home and Away, so I feel like I have grown up on the show.

I have made lifelong friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed my job and feel so blessed to do something I love every day.

SDT: Can you give us a teaser for what's in store for Leah on Home and Away in 2020?

ADA: I can't give too much away, but things progress with Leah and Justin and you will see Leah happier than ever!

SDT: How are you planning to celebrate Mother’s Day?

ADA: I have been dropping small hints to Johnas all week to be honest, I’m hoping to enjoy a delicious brekkie in bed and then will give my Mum a call to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day.

SDT: Do you have any tips for other Mums this year?

ADA: I was shocked to hear that BIG W found that almost 30% of Australian families are undecided if they will celebrate Mother’s Day this year - I think there should be no exception when it comes to celebrating, it's more important now than ever that we thank Mums for all they do.

I personally love the idea of having a ‘mini Mother’s Day parade’ for those who live nearby to their Mum or Grandma. I think it’s a really fun way for families to decorate their cars and schedule a time to drive by their houses – to let them know you’re thinking of them!

My tip for gift-buying would be to think of things your Mum loves to use in everyday life and purchase her the latest edition, to keep her ahead of the curve. Think electronics, appliances or the latest fiction novel flying off the shelves - BIG W have a great selection of products available which mum will love!
