5 tips for healthier hair
We all want those luscious, healthy locks we see on Pantene commercials, but how do we get them?
Here are 5 simple ways you can get healthier hair
Heat is one of the biggest causes of dry, damaged hair. So it's no wonder going heatless will improve the health of your locks. You may have noticed the rise of silk wavers on social media. We tried out Padre Hair's Silk Waver kit and achieved incredible results, minus the 200 degree heat to our hair!
Also where possible, let your hair dry naturally.
Use quality products
Even though it may sting your wallet, washing, conditioning and styling your hair with high quality tools and products is a MUST.
Sleep on silk
Silk is naturally smoother than cotton and other fibres. Sleeping on silk will reduce the friction between your pillow and hair while you sleep. Silk will also help your skin retain moisture while sleeping.
It's a WIN-WIN.
It may feel counterproductive, but getting a trim every 2-3 months will keep your ends healthier and promote growth.
Don't wash every day
Over-washing can strip hair of its natural oils and moisture. If you can handle it, wash 2-3 times a week.
